A weeks update.

Sooo it’s been a long, hard week. But that definately doesn’t mean its been a BAD week. We did…I think 12 runs of Under Observation. Out of those twelve runs, we got a whopping THREE Peacock Charms. Yeah, can you fucking believe that? THREE. First on my orb, second on Tom’s, and lastely on Bryan’s (so now he can quit his bitching). All three charms dropped on 88% moon. Also we got 2 Erase scrolls (I’m keeping one since WHM is close) 2 Ustu: Ni scrolls @ 700k a pop, and a Phalanx.

I asked Bryan the other day why I devote all my time to helping other people and getting none in return. He said simply “Because karma comes back to you and you get 2 PCC drops in a row.” Well, that explained a lot :3 Unfortunately I have like, zero screen shots of the drops. I was playing my RDM and BLM on PS2, where I cant SS the text. I actually took picture of the screen with my cell phone for first two drops, but for some reason when I email them to myself they won’t show up. On top of getting amazing drops, we also set BC record:

Let’s see…Oh! Bryan is back as DRG! Let me ask you something…have you ever been PLed from level 1-20 in a single day, for 11 hours straight? Well he has. The people in his party in the dunes sure loved me…That’s everyones dream isn’t it? Through that hellhole in one day. Well dears, unless I’m your PL, or someone as equally talented/insane as me is, it’s not happening.

I had quite a few horendous CN parties as MNK though…but I did get a part early yesterday that made up for it. Our first mob @ 46 was a water eley and we killed it with no deaths. Everyone thought I was such an uber MNK :3 And in case you need proof that we are indeed being overrun…

Then Bryan joined up with my WAR and we got through Qufim in one day also! It was a lot of fun leveling with him again…been SO long.

I’m happy with my FF experience for the week, though. Who can snub their noses at three Peacock charms? Certainly not me…

<Quicksand Caves> <fun>! Monk is now @ 44. Today party was an absolute relief compared the ones I’ve had at CN lately. I can’t believe how fucking stupid/arrogant new players are these days :/ Its really burning my ass.

Todays party consisted of MNK, MNK, SAM, BRD, and BLM with PL, and then when we moved, BLM left and we added a BLU and a THF. All and all was good stuff.  I had quite a good time partying it up with Aeyzie and Raeyne ^^

Other than a few failed MNK parties, last few days have been pretty uneventful…played around with some more .dats…but thats about it. Wanting to give making a new banner a try, but lacking the enthusiasm…

Finally!

Yay! I can now ride DancingDunkles :3! And I don’t care what anyone says…my choco has the coolest name on Fenrir.

Aaaand MNK is now 41. Okotes, Jujitsu Gi, and Brown Belt! Now I need…about 600k for lv45 earrings, like 300k for lv48 cape aaannnd…2M for cross counters at 50! WOOO! MNK…is awesome…yeah. :/ No wonder Bryan’s MNK completely sucked gear-wise until he hit 75…gogo me.

Back to WAR for me…my knuckles need resting for a few days~

I <3 lazy-daisy Saturdays~

 My aunt came over, we all had a yummy breakfast at like 9am and then I went back to bed :3 (I was up reeeallly late last night cause I had to watch Resevoir Dogs, I’ve never seen it ; ; [I totally think Mr. Pink got away with the jewels!!]) So yeah, went back to bed, slept a few more hours, and then pretty much just lazed around alllll day with Bryan and that was nice.

Then somehow I convinced him to log on Roxtar and PL my WAR (nowai!~) to 19 bc I just can’t take the dunes anymore! So we went to Bubu and in 2.5 hours my war went from 16-19 :3 It was lovely…of course, he logged as SOON as we were done. I all but begged him to level his THF with my MNK :/ I know I live with the guy and all but…I miss playing the game with him SO much. We used to have so much fun together. We’ve duoed almost everything there is to duo~missions, NMs, avatars, ENMs, so on and so forth, you get the idea…We did so much together and I miss it ; ; I try to tell him how much fun I have with him but he doesn’t want to hear it. “I don’t play that game anymore” is all he can say. But it hurts my feelings and I don’t think he gets that

I think it’s all about the LS thing…him feeling obligated to Omen and all. Being a part of that kind of linkshell, yes you need to be active and devote the vast majority of your time to events. But would it really hurt him to just play with me every once in a while and not worry about what other people think? Bleh, whatever…he officially “quit” so heaven forbid he goes back on his word…Stubborn stubborn men :/

Tomorrow myself, Tom, and Aeyzie are going to level our lv30 jobs together, so thats something to be excited about. ^^ My goal for tomorrow: Okotes!! gogogo!

If I’ve said it before I’ll say it again. I hate the Dunes. (Who doesn’t?) My second job through there this week and I just want it to be over with, hell I’ll pay someone to do it for me. With MNK I got lucky, I got throughi n 3 parties of veterans who new wtf they were doing. Yesterday I get stuck in a party of noobs (Minus one, Atar who had like 6 lv75 jobs was in there, but he was starting over as a taru named Wolfsbane :3 So thank you for being a great, patient WHM) who happen to think its better to camp in an area where 3 other pt’s are and compete for pulls, than camp somewhere unfamiliar to them with NO parties.

I swear to god, when I was just starting out, I LISTENED to advice people gave to me, and I followed it without having to be told twice. GRRR On a lighter note, our THF was a jp who had just been playing for 3 days and spoke pretty decent english. I thought he was so cute :3 He aggroed a bogy and got oneshotted and had no clue what happened to him, and when we told him all he could say was “OH NO!” and “RUN RUN~!” JPs are so cute XD

So then I wasn’t wearing a LS in the party. The only social one I have hasn’t really blossomed into anything yet (Mithra THF ls…) so I take it off in hopes that maybe someone will see me on my 60THF running around LS-less and hand me a *good* (keyword good) social LS that does events and missions and CoP and shit. But maybe I’m asking for too much.

Anyway. The leader of the group…who is one of those new players who thinks he knows a lot about everything, and that really burns my ass…notices I don’t have a LS on, so he offers to get me into his. I say, why the hell not, it’s worth a shot right? I ask him what kind it is and he tells me its social, and a little bit of everything, everyone benefits from it. So why the hell not. Long story short, I end up telling everyone in the LS (seems to me the highest person in there is a Rank6 lv 63RDM) that I have a 75RDM. And now all the lv2 SMNs up to lv50RDMs think that I can somehow miraculously take them ALL into a 6 person BC and solo the avatar primes for them? Excuse my french but…W T F.

So they have this event planned for 3pm on Sat. I was just going to drop the pearl, but the LS message says “…People that are crucial to our event: Rum” For crying out loud, I LOVE being volunteered to do shit for people….Christ on a cracker.

Now that THAT’s out…I feel a bit better :3 Anyway…I took all that I could stand and got WAR to 15 (two levels). Then I helped Tomtom get his AF legs from QC (Congrats TommyTurtle!) and then we went to do a little exp grinding on MNK and WHM, seeing as Aeyzie got 29 and Tom and I were 27 and 28! So we caught up to you, nya nya! In a really amazing party actually. Quite a few familiar faces, people that have been playing the game as long as I have. Blizzit HQed 12 Beetle Rings in a row and gave em all to the RNG who had been only playing for like a week. He was so happy, it was adorable. But the HQing was impressive, so kudos to him!

Well, back to WAR today I’m guessing…bleh. Someone give me a gun.
